Adult Aspergers Support Group
Psychologist, Dr. Barbara J Nichols, Ph.D., leads this support group for adults with Aspergers . The group focuses on the special problems and issues that face adults with Aspergers. Members discuss relationships and social situations and offer feedback to each other about strategies for handling them. Symptoms, traits, and characteristics are discussed, as well as the talents and strengths of people with Aspergers. The emphasis of the group is to give members a sense of self-worth and belonging in a social learning environment.
