Adult Aspergers Family Members Support Group

This peer support group is for family members of an adult with Aspergers. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month.

Marilyn Riesch, M.S., a former rehabilitation counselor, and Barbara J Nichols, Ph.D, a clinical psychologist, lead this support group for family members (spouses, significant others, parents, adult siblings, etc.) of adults with Aspergers. The group is designed to help family members of adults with Asperger to manage the special problems that the adult asperger presents to family members. The focus is on strategies and interventions for improved family and relationship life. Members give each other suggestions and support while encouraging one another in the process of learning and change.
