How You Can Help
We are happy to announce that the Southern Arizona Association of Adult Asperger’s is growing. More and more adults are being diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome because more mental health clinicians are becoming educated about the syndrome and the main stream media has begun to give some attention to the syndrome. We are making an effort to inform both the local public and the local professional community that we have free support groups for adults with Asperger’s and their family members. I am grateful to the professional men and women who have referred adults to our groups and we have learned that the groups are helping individuals and families to move toward health and happiness.
It is our goal to make Tucson and greater Southern Arizona into a community that welcomes, supports, and appreciates the talents and intelligence of the Aspergian. Doing so will not only benefit the Aspergian but will give a tremendous gift to the community. To accomplish our mission, we need your talent, intelligence, and experience. Below is a list of the ways in which you can help further the cause of making this a better world, one Aspie at a time.
